The primary responsibility of the Support Engineer is handling the 1st Level ticket queue, providing advice to our customers, and maintaining the support knowledge base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional advice to clients via our ticketing system
- Work close with 2nd Level Support, follow-up and trace fixes and solutions
- Review and update knowledge base articles
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Participate in trainings incl. self-learning and on the job trainings
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in IT or equivalent
- Alternative: technical degree (Technician....)
- Advanced level or analytical troubleshooting approach
- Experience in multi-cultural environments
- Technical knowledge and experience in some of the following areas:
- Working with ticketing and knowledge systems
- Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Linux administration
- Shell and scripting knowledge
- Database and SQL knowledge, SQL scripting
- Friendly and polite in communication
- Good interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Customer centric approach
- Team player but also able to work on own initiative
- Enthusiastic, self-starter and highly self-motivated
- English: mandatory (Level B1)
